Stamford completed a great away win and performance against our tital rivals Wooton. This was despite going one down in the opening twenty seconds, however we fought back to be two one up at half time following two goals from Lauren Rigby. The first a calm finish into the bottom corner following good work by Charlotte Fletcher and the second a cross from the right which found the top corner. After half time Charlotte Fletcher made it three clinically finishing following a fine passing move and a good through ball by Lauren Rigby, With Rigby then completing her hat trick with a powerful shot into the roof of the net from inside the area to make it four. Fletcher then made it five stabbing home from a good Helena Elliott cross and Emma Couzens completed the scoring with a powerful left foot finish on the turn from inside the area. It was a great result and team performance from every single player all of which deserve great credit.
