Daniels Independent Supporters Club
The Daniels Independent Supporters Club is normally known by its abbreviation DISC and has been running since July 2007 to enable supporters to try and help Stamford AFC by promoting the club and the activities it runs.
In the time DISC has been running there have been annual fundraising events to help increase the awareness of the clubs existence and raise money too. The annual events they run are a quiz night, a Christmas tombola stall in Stamford town centre, sponsored walk and fantasy football. DISC also run match day items too; the predictor and the FA cup and trophy sweepstakes. You may have seen in many local shops the SAFC match day poster which we distribute around the town to local businesses. (A copy of the current match day poster can be downloaded from the home page.)
DISC made a donation to the club at the end of the 2007-2008 season and made donations to the club during the 2008 2009 season. DISC has also ran free coaches to Marine in May 2008 and to Leek in March 2009. From the 2009 – 2010 season DISC have been involved in helping to manage the club shop.
