New Club Website & Fans Forum
We are pleased to announce The Clubs new website will be activated prior to Saturdays opening League Fixture at Sheffield FC.
Our thanks go to Rob “RJHGlover†Herniman, Giles “Stampy†Lawrence and Ian Evley for their tireless work in creating a site that we hope will prove informative and useful to both Stamford supporters and visiting fans from other clubs. It will also be an important vehicle for closer communication with our local Community.
The popular Fans Forum will remain as an independent “chat roomâ€. We have noted requests from regular contributors to the forum to ensure historical posts, subjects and individual posting records remain. We have therefore retained the forum hosting through proboards, but so that we can maximise the traffic through the club site and make it attractive to potential advertisers, would all users please access the forum via the club website rather than directly into the proboards facility.
Several categories of news posts that currently reside on the forum will be transferred to the new club website including all DISC information, Away Days, The 200 Club and all Young Daniels information.
Please submit all news items to our Webmasters at press@stamfordafc.net for inclusion in the main body of the site, leaving the forum for discussion topics.
I hope you enjoy the site and the new format. New features and details will be added to the site as the season progresses, and as ever your comments and feedback will be most appreciated.
